From November 2025, Root Gallery opens its doors for exclusive private rentals. Located in a historic dike building in Krimpen aan de Lek, on the edge of the Groene Hart in the Krimpenerwaard, our gallery offers a serene, inspiring environment surrounded by contemporary art and Dutch landscape.

Whether you're planning a board meeting, team day, private dinner, book launch, or creative workshop, Root Gallery provides a unique event location near Rotterdam, designed for focus, conversation, and atmosphere.

Over the years, we've loved welcoming groups to our previous location. With our new space, we’re looking forward to welcoming groups again, with the same involvement, attention, and dedication as before

What we offer

– Suitable for groups of up to 20 guests
– Flexible layout tailored to your needs
– On-site parking available
– Bus stop literally at the front gate; 10 minutes by bike to the waterbus; 30 minutes by bike to the metro
– Located in the Krimpenerwaard, easily accessible from both Rotterdam and the Randstad
– Partnerships with select caterers for curated lunches, drinks or dinners
– Audiovisual equipment and fast internet connection
– Atmospheric styling available on request
– Option to hire a professional photographer to document your event

Optional additions

– A short introduction to the art on view (15 min), tailored to your group
– A seasonal floral arrangement, provided by a local florist
– A curated ‘gallery lunch’ surrounded by art
– An artist meet & greet (on request and subject to availability)

But there’s much more we can offer. We’d be happy to tailor a unique experience to your needs, with the same level of dedication and thoughtfulness that defines our gallery.

Root Gallery values sustainability. Our space is designed with long-term impact in mind: minimal waste, collaborations with local partners, and timeless choices in materials and design.

Please note: the gallery is not available for rentals on Saturdays.
Rates start at €260 per half day, including standard facilities.
