This large, intricate painting by Saïd kinos explores abstraction in a very profound way. Saïd is fascinated by the ways in which people communicate through language, symbols and changing technologies. The high speed in which information is presented to us, and with it the transience of our modern forms of communication, is a common denominator in all his work. Meanwhile, subjective associations and differing contexts can alter the reception of words and messages. In this, Saïd finds an element of abstraction which he explores through high-contrast, vibrant colour combinations and fragmented typography. Taking visual elements from anywhere he can find and recomposing them in a way to make them his own, Saïd creates his own reconstructed versions of reality.
