The Never Lost series by Quinda Verheul explores the tension between erosion and imagination through sculptural wall works. Using foam and flocking techniques, Quinda creates textured surfaces that echo weathered rock formations and mountain fragments. Never Lost III (2023) combines deep black tones with ochre to evoke landscapes shaped by time, inspired by places like Utah and Iceland. The work invites close attention: light reveals velvety softness across its surface, while its abstract form suggests geological processes.
