Dreams and Hope marks a new direction in the work of Vera Klaus. Across a soft pink ground, recurring arched forms appear like mountains, shelters or elements from an imagined landscape. Deep blue, vivid red, yellow and earthy green are layered through translucent washes, drawn contours and tactile marks.

While Klaus’s earlier paintings were often led by spontaneous gestures, this work introduces a more deliberate visual language. The repeated forms gather, overlap and disperse across the canvas, creating a rhythm that moves between drawing and painting, structure and intuition.
