Frühlingstanz (Spring Dance) is a mixed media painting by Vera Klaus in which colour moves freely across raw canvas through splashes, washes and quick gestural marks. Bright pink, neon yellow, deep green and violet appear to surface organically, interacting with small drawn elements and fluid paint stains.

The composition develops through rhythm rather than structure. Areas of exposed canvas keep the material surface visible, while thin lines and small forms appear between the larger gestures, suggesting fragments of plants, movement or fleeting impressions.

The work carries the energy of a landscape coming to life. Colour spreads, dissolves and gathers again across the surface, creating a dynamic balance between spontaneity and control that gives the painting its lively, intuitive character.
