Morgensonne (Morning Sun) is a mixed media painting by Vera Klaus in which vivid colour appears across raw canvas through fluid washes, splashes and spontaneous gestures. Soft violet, bright orange, neon yellow and pink pigments move freely across the surface, forming an open and airy composition.

Rather than building a dense image, the artist allows space to remain visible. The natural tone of the canvas creates calm between the energetic paint marks, while thin lines and small symbolic forms appear among the larger colour gestures.

The painting carries a sense of movement and lightness. Colour seems to drift, gather and dissolve across the surface, creating a rhythm that suggests the quiet energy of a landscape awakening in the early morning.
