Traumhafte Begegnung (Dreamlike Encounter) is a mixed media painting by Vera Klaus in which luminous colour unfolds across raw canvas through spontaneous paint gestures and fluid pigment stains. Bright pink, neon yellow, green and purple tones move freely across the surface, interacting with thin lines and scattered paint splashes.

Rather than forming a fixed image, the composition emerges through rhythm and balance. Larger colour fields dissolve into the surface while smaller marks appear across the canvas, creating an open and layered structure.

The work carries a sense of encounter and movement, where colour seems to drift, gather and disperse across the canvas, creating an atmosphere that feels both energetic and playful.
