In The Rabbithole, Jeske Haak creates an underground organic landscape where form and light intertwine. The sculpture is built up of unique, layered structures that evoke hidden passages beneath the earth. Light emerging from the openings symbolises the rabbit searching for its way through the tunnels – sometimes visible, sometimes only suggested.
This work reflects Jeske’s fascination with what usually remains unseen: landscapes and lifeforms beyond our daily perception. By combining bronze and light, she gives this hidden world a lasting presence and invites the viewer to look closer.
