The Arising by Jeske Haak explores transformation as a force of both fragility and power. Cast in bronze, the sculpture embodies the moment of emergence, when something delicate breaks through its surface to take form.
Haak draws on natural cycles and mythological imagery to evoke renewal and endurance. The reflective surface gives the work an almost sacred stillness, while the sculpted forms suggest motion and life within the metal itself.

Through this piece, Haak continues her investigation into the origins of creation, how form arises from matter, and how the smallest elements of nature can carry monumental presence. The Arising stands as a quiet yet commanding meditation on rebirth and material permanence.
