The German title Gedankenkarussell translates as “Carousel of Thoughts”. A winding green line travels through fields of violet and pink, while vivid orange, yellow and blue marks gather towards the lower half of the canvas. The untouched surface above creates a sense of space around this concentrated movement.

Vera Klaus allows each gesture to prompt the next. Colours overlap, lines change direction and small metallic accents interrupt the softer passages. The composition captures the way thoughts can circle, disappear and suddenly return, without resolving into a fixed image.
