Vera’s paintings consist of bright and colourful compositions in which she makes use of different materials such as spray paint and acrylic paint as well as chalk. With music as her muse - which creates a flow and gives rise to positive emotions - she enters a state of happiness that is directly connected to the action of painting. With her work, Vera aims to transfer her state of happiness to the viewer. By means of her attributed titles she is able to further emphasise this positive energy; The feeling of the sun kissing your skin on a lovely spring day, the visual of a field of flowers in bloom, the memory of a warm encounter.. Everyday life experiences like these form a continuous source of inspiration. In this way her works could also be described as a physical result of a moment in which she was fully in tune with the present.
