Lisette Schumacher’s new series deepens her exploration of light, space, and architecture. Moving beyond her signature ‘boxes,’ she introduces lighter, floating panels that dynamically interact with surrounding light. Inspired by her time in California, she blends modernist ideals with a poetic investigation of perception and temporality. Her works capture the subtleties of natural and artificial light, referencing the fleeting beauty of the daytime moon. This series invites visitors to not just see, but to feel, immersing themselves in a play of light, shadow, and colour.
