In this smaller work, Vera Klaus explores what happens when there’s space to pause. Moment der Ruhe - “moment of calm” - brings together playful movement and stillness in a balanced composition.
The canvas remains open, with room to breathe. A streak of green, a lilac curve, a blue dot, each element appears mid-motion, without rush. It’s a painting that holds attention through its simplicity and subtle layering.
Made with acrylics, ink and pastel, the work reflects the artist’s intuitive process. As with much of her practice, music played a role, guiding the gestures, rhythm and pacing. The result is a painting that feels both spontaneous and grounded.

This work will be shipped within the Netherlands and Belgium at no additional cost, securely and with tracking.
