Quinda Verheul is a visual artist exploring and immersing herself in the constantly changing landscapes and the influence of humans on this process. Being in the midst of the landscape, experiencing the mountains, the different weather conditions, and the site at night enhances her fascination for the landscape which is inextricably reflected in her practice. In her work Quinda Verheul often addresses what is otherwise invisible; places, environments and situations that escape us. In this series she translates her experiences and imagination of a new moon to delicate sculptures in varying colour schemes.
