Request a private viewing at Root Gallery. By appointment, you can take the time to experience contemporary paintings, sculptures, photography and mixed-media works up close. We can also prepare a personal selection based on your preferences, space and budget.

Not every available artwork is published on our website, and not every work shown online is physically present in the gallery at all times. If a particular work or artist has caught your attention, let us know in advance. We can check availability and, when needed, arrange to have the work brought to the gallery for your visit.

Buying art remotely

Unable to visit the gallery? We can help you consider and purchase an artwork remotely.

For any work by Donald Schenkel, Lisette Schumacher, Karen van de Vliet, Vera Klaus or another Root Gallery artist, we can provide additional photographs, close-ups, videos and installation views. This allows you to examine the colour, material, surface and scale in greater detail.

We can also create a digital preview of an artwork in your space. Simply send us a front-facing photograph of the wall and its measurements. If you have not yet selected a particular work, we can prepare a personal selection based on your preferences, available space and budget.

Delivery within the Netherlands and Belgium is complimentary. Insured international shipping is also available, with every artwork carefully packed for transport.
